Monday, Oct 26, 2009 @10:04am CDT (Charlottesville, VA) -- Metallica has added 50-thousand dollars to the reward money as authorities continue to search for a missing Virginia Tech student.
Morgan Harrington has been missing for over a week, after she disappeared outside a Metallica concert in Charlottesville, Virginia. Over the weekend, Virginia State Police responded to a report of suspicious activity at a motel near Charlottesville in an effort to find the 20-year-old, but investigators were not able to find anything related to the missing co-ed. State Police spokeswoman Corrine Geller told the "Roanoke Times" that investigators follow each tip they receive and while she did not discuss the number of tips, she did say they generally involve sightings of someone matching Harrington's description. The total reward for information in the case is now up to 150-thousand dollars.
