Tuesday, Nov 3, 2009 @09:23am CST (Phoenix, AZ) -- A Delta Air Lines flight leaving Phoenix for Salt Lake City was forced to return to Sky Harbor Airport and make an emergency landing Monday morning.
Flight 1232 with 127 passengers on board, hit some birds, damaging the windshield and creating a cabin pressure problem. An FAA spokesperson says the landing was uneventful. Delta says the return to the airport was a precaution and the passengers boarded another flight.
