Tuesday, Nov 3, 2009 @09:29am CST (Dearborn, MI) -- The United Auto Workers have spoken and the word is a resounding no.
The UAW voted down modifications of a national labor agreement with Ford. Ford Motor Company group vice president Joe Hinrichs says that Ford is disappointed that the changes were not ratified. He says that moving forward, quote, "we will work with the UAW to discuss the next steps to ensure Ford remains competitive so we can continue to make product commitments and invest in our manufacturing facilities here in the United States."
