Wednesday, Nov 4, 2009 @09:36am CST Ousted beauty queen Carrie Prejean and the organizers behind the Miss California USA pageant have apparently called a truce in their legal battle.
TMZ.com cites a statement from pageant organizers who say both sides have dropped their lawsuits against each other. A few months after the organization relieved her of her duties as Miss California, Prejean filed suit against Miss California USA in August, citing religious discrimination and defamation. Pageant organizers returned fire, filing a countersuit that asked Prejean to pay back the 52-hundred dollars spent for her breast implants. In a statement, Miss California organizers said, quote, "Carrie Prejean, Keith Lewis and K2 productions have dropped their claim against each other and wish each other the best in their future endeavors."
