Wednesday, Nov 4, 2009 @09:45am CST (Cairo) -- Secretary of State Hillary Clinton expressed a stern view about Israeli settlements while in Egypt today.
During a stop in Cairo, Clinton said that the U.S. does not accept the legitimacy of Israeli settlement activity. However, she added Washington believes that starting talks is the best way to bring about a freeze. Clinton made the comments after holding discussions with Egyptian officials, including President Hosni Mubarak.
