(Chicago) -- Prosecutors have charged two alleged gang members with first-degree murder in connection with the Halloween shooting death of a DePaul University senior.

Police say Narcisco Garcia and Berlit Valladares fatally shot Francisco Valencia at the party on the 17-hundred block of North Rockwell Street.

The two had apparently been in a dispute with people over an uninvited guest earlier in the evening.

The suspects are also charged with attempted murder for allegedly shooting another partygoer, Daisy Camacho.

Both men remain in custody.
