Thursday, Nov 5, 2009 @09:31am CST (Cleveland, OH) -- Residents of a Cleveland neighborhood where eleven bodies have been discovered had blamed a sickening stench in the area on a sausage factory.
"The Wall Street Journal" reports even the meat plant believed it was the cause of the overpowering stink. The owner of Ray's Sausage has told investigators he'd spent ten-thousand dollars replacing plumbing and cleaning traps to try and remedy the problem. No matter what he did, the smell remained. It wasn't until last Thursday that police discovered the ghastly truth. Women had been murdered and left to rot in a home next to the sausage factory. The coroner of Cuyahoga County, Ohio announced during a news conference eleven bodies have now been found in the home of Anthony Sowell. Six were discovered inside the house, five have been recovered from the yard and the search is continuing. Sowell has been arraigned on five counts of aggravated murder.
