(Orlando, FL) -- Authorities have updated the number of victims injured in today's office shooting in downtown Orlando.

Six people have been confirmed injured in the shooting and one of those victims has died.

The search is continuing for the gunman who walked into the Gateway Center officer tower in downtown Orlando and opened fire.

He is identified as 40-year-old Jason Rodriguez, a former employee of Reynolds, Smith, & Hills, an engineering and firm with offices located in Orlando.

He may be driving a silver Nissan SUV with Florida tag D119UX.

Several nearby schools and office buildings remain on lockdown.

Police have described Rodriguez as armed and dangerous.
