(Glendale, AZ) -- A fire broke out at the Arizona home of a suspect accused of killing his daughter because she became "too Westernized." Forty-eight-year-old Faleh Almaleki was sitting in a jail cell when the fire was reported just before 4 a.m.

Authorities say the fire broke out in the garage and smoke detectors woke the family, who made it out unharmed.

The fire was contained to the garage.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.

Almaleki is currently on suicide watch.
