Thursday, Nov 12, 2009 @02:59pm CST Mike Tyson's arrest Wednesday night at Los Angeles International Airport could have ramifications in another state.
TMZ.com reports that officials in Arizona are looking into the incident to determine if Tyson's arrest violated his probation. The former heavyweight champion was convicted of felony cocaine possession and misdemeanor driving under the influence in Arizona in 2007. Tyson was placed on three years probation and was told he could not violate any laws. An Arizona probation official tells TMZ that if charges are in fact filed, Tyson could be in violation of his probation. The official adds that Tyson could spend as many as five years in prison if he's found to have violated his probation. Mike Tyson was arrested Wednesday night at LAX after he allegedly punched a photographer in the face and tried to take the film from his camera. Both men were arrested and want to file battery charges against one another.
