Today the federal government is expected to release the results of its investigation into the health effects of Chinese drywall.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission report should help catalog and explain the health problems many people living in a home with Chinese drywall have reported.

Earlier studies of the suspect material showed high levels of sulfur, but there was no direct link made between the tainted drywall and the people who became sick.

Thousands of lawsuits have been filed against homebuilders and contractors in addition to the company that manufactured the Chinese-made material.
