(Rockford) -- Rockford's Mayor Larry Morrissey recently returned from a state-sponsored trip to Milan, Italy. 

While in Italy, Mayor Morrissey participated in "Lands of the World: Communities for the World", an international economic development forum which focused on the role of sub-national governments in the post-crisis global economic scene.

In addition to the conference, Mayor Morrissey was able to meet with business and government leaders across the globe to discuss business growth opportunities in our region.
