Scott is originally from Ohio, but he's called Rockford home since he was hired by WTVO in 1989. He was promoted to Sports Director in 1995.

Scott's not one of those anchors who simply sits behind a desk. He likes to get out and cover local sports, so don't be surprised if you see him at a local game.

When he's not covering sports, Scott enjoys spending time with his son and their two dogs. He also enjoys yard work, reading and exercising. Scott is also active in his church.
