Springfield--More Illinois Republicans keep throwing their names into the hat in next year's race for governor. The latest hopeful is DuPage County Board head Bob Schillerstrom. He will make his plans official at a rally in Naperville on Sunday, but he already has a campaign website up to take names and donations. Schillerstrom says in a campaign ad that he's against the proposed income tax increase up for debate in Springfield. Schillerstrom doesn't give specific answers on how he'd solve this year's budget impasse. Schillerstrom becomes the third Republican to announce a run for governor in a week. State Senator Matt Murphy and commentator Dan Proft are also kicking off campaigns. Bloomington State Senator Bill Brady has long been in the race and other Republicans could join the crowd.
