(Los Angeles, CA) -- Michael Jackson's mother has received temporary guardianship of the singer's three children.

The "Los Angeles Times" reports a spokesman for Los Angeles County Superior Court says there will be a hearing next Monday in the custody case.

Katherine Jackson filed for custody of Prince Michael, Prince Michael the Second and Paris Michael Katherine this morning.

According to the "Times," Jackson's lawyers argued that Debbie Rowe, the biological mother of at least two of the children, didn't have a relationship with them.

They reportedly said that if Rowe is granted custody, it'd be detrimental to the kids.
