(Zurich) -- Here's your chance to help pick the seven natural wonders of the world.

Should the Grand Canyon be on the list? How about the Dead Sea or the Great Barrier Reef? Organizers of a contest called the New Seven Wonders of the World say they're hoping to get a billion votes online and over the phone.

The Swiss group's slogan is, quote, "If we want to save anything, we first need to truly appreciate it."

A panel of experts narrowed a massive list down to just 28 finalists yesterday.

Other geographic hot spots making the cut include the Galapagos Islands, the Amazon rainforest, Germany's Black Forest and Azerbaijan's Mud Volcanoes.
