ROCKFORD, IL - The first ever Green Ball was held in Rockford Friday, October 23 at Cliffbreakers.  The event featured locally-grown, organic food, organic beer and wine tasting, and booths to learn more information about environmentally-friendly practices.  There was also an electric car show featuring the Tesla Roadster.  The sports car can travel at speeds up to 125mph and go approximately 250 miles on a single charge.  A Tesla Motors showroom is being built in Chicago.
