    (Sterling, Illinois) - Sterling students in grades K-2 will learn in "green" air conditioned comfort.  The school board approved contracts for geo-thermal work at Franklin and Jefferson elementary.  The money was donated by a private foundation specifically for projects like these.  The systems will help heat and cool the schools by using water from the ground.
