Reported by: Nicole Kilmer Wednesday, Mar 12, 2008 @06:31pm CDT WTVO/WQRF - Recycling. A lot of people do it. From cans to cardboard, and, your next car? Your car already is about 80-to-90 percent recyclable. Now, carmakers are starting to use recycled and plant-based materials, in seats. The fabric on the Ford Escape's seats is made, in part, from recycled plastic bottles. Designers admit that with all the talk about the environment, this is an area not many people ask about. |
