North and The event's organizers are collecting cash to help out. The cost is $10 a person at the door and they're selling raffle tickets inside for 10 bucks also. Items in the raffle include gift certificates, collectables and the big ticket item a police rifle. All the money will go to the officers through the Rockford Police Union and by all the blue ribbons in here, it looks like they all have a lot of support. “I believe everything they did, they followed procedure. There is no way these officers should be prosecuted the way they're being prosecuted. They haven't been convicted of anything and it's just not fair that police officers don't have the same rights as individuals,” says retired Winnebago County Sheriff’s Deputy Rodney Roop Jr. The money raised will go to support three pending lawsuits.
