Rockford- A top republican candidate for Governor is kicking off a statewide tour. The first stop for republican Jim Ryan was right here in Rockford.
Ryan is a former Illinois Attorney General. His campaign is focusing on improving state business and moving the Illinois forward.
"I think I've got the experience to take our state in the right direction. I can't do it alone, I want to put together a smart team, honest people, transparent government, and I want to get the citizens of Illinois to make this their fight, their campaign," says Jim Ryan (R) Candidate For Governor
