In less than 24 hours, the Stott family returns to Lena to see their brand new home.

One of the stars of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition says this build has gone smoother than most.

"The family comes home tomorrow," says Paige Hemmis, one of the show's stars. "We're starting to bring in the furniture. The house really does look stunning. And things are going so well, usually we're cramming the night before the reveal and even that day."

Today's highlight was actor David Duchovny. The star of X-Files and Californication helped the crew with the Stott's organic garden. Duchovny prides himself on living an eco-friendly lifestyle, and the Stott's home was rebuilt to include a lot of green elements.

Local volunteers got the chance to tape scenes with him, as well as Extreme Makeover frontman, Ty Pennington.

Some family members of the Stott's were among those in the crowd watching. They can't wait for tomorrow. "I want to see it," says Vanessa Wachlin, Joey Stott's cousin. "I can't wait to see her face when she sees it. This whole thing proves good things happen to good people."

The big reveal will be Wednesday afternoon. Organizers are expecting a big crowd. Spectator buses leave from the Lincoln Mall in Freeport and Sullivan's in Lena. They'll run from 8am until 6pm, but could get delayed.
