Steel Columns To Be Installed At Ground Zero

(New York, NY) -- A pair of steel columns salvaged from the World Trade Center following the 9-11 attacks will be installed today at Ground Zero.
The 50-ton column from the facade of the North Tower will be placed at the entrance of the future memorial museum.
New York Governor David Paterson, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, and Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver will be on hand for the installation at Number 7 World Trade.
There will also be a discussion on the progress being made at Ground Zero ahead of Saturday's ninth anniversary of the attacks.
