IPad 2 Online Orders Backlogged

By: Colin Clarke
Updated: March 14, 2011
March Madness has nothing on Apple Madness.
Consumers faced familiar long lines at Apple stores over the weekend to get the new iPad 2.
By yesterday, the gadget was all but sold out at Apple stores and other retailers.
Apple says the demand has been amazing, and that there's a backlog of up to four weeks.
One industry analyst projected opening weekend sales of about 500-thousand for the new iPad, despite the 499-dollar price.
