The women of the Muslim Association of Greater Rockford also held an event for National Women's History Month.

About 125 women gathered yesterday to learn more about the Islamic religion and woman in lslam.

Aside from several informational sessions, a fashion show was held highlighting Islamic dresses from around the world.
