Shooting Suspect Turns Himself In

Shooting-1802007-03-25-1174881341.jpgA Rockford man wanted by police in connection with St. Patrick's Day shooting turns himself in.


 

25-year-old Christopher Brown was arrested Wednesday after walking himself into the Public Safety Building. He is charged with aggravated battery with a firearm and is being held on $500,000 bond.


On March 17th at around 2:15 a.m., Brown allegedly shot 19-year-old Dawon Lewis in the neck. Lewis was treated at Rockford Memorial Hospital before being flown to the University of Wisconsin hospital in Madison. His condition is unknown.
