(Sanford, FL) -- A Florida woman accused of setting fire to one of the oldest known cypress trees in the world is now out of jail after posting a 25-hundred-dollar bond.
Sara Barnes was arrested Tuesday and allegedly told investigators she'd set fire to the tree so she could see what she was doing while taking drugs.
Barnes is facing a third-degree felony charge of malicious land burning for destroying the 35-hundred-year-old cypress tree.
Police are looking for an accomplice.
