Woman Stabbed in Early Morning Brawl

A woman was stabbed during a brawl at the Orton Keys Housing Project in Rockford around 2:30 Thursday morning. Police say up to 15 women were involved in the fight. They also say a variety of weapons, including baseball bats, knives, and guns were used during the incident.
Shots were fired, but no one was injured by the bullets. The woman who was stabbed suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital. No one else was hurt.
Police have not yet made any arrests in the case.
