Rockford Man Found Guilty

Rockford, IL - A jury has determined Jamal Harmon, 31, killed Raphael Wheatley.  Last April, Wheatley was found beaten in a park near the Orton Keyes Housing Complex in Rockford.  He was taken to the hospital where he later died.  Harmon is scheduled to be sentenced June 12th.
