Rockford Man Indicted in Elderly Couple's Deaths

Rockford - A grand jury indicts Brett Alexander, 21, for the deaths of an elderly couple last year.
Alexander has been charged with three counts of reckless homicide, two counts of aggravated reckless driving, and two counts of aggravated DUI. Last October, the victims Ronald and Darlene Young, were driving down S. Main St. when Alexander, who police say was high at the time, slammed into them.
Alexander is currently being held in the Winnebago County Jail.
