The Art of Rap and Hip Hop with Rapper and Actor Ice-T

Ever wondered how rap and hip hop came to be?

This man is known as the "Godfather" of rap and he's taken his career much further since!

He starred in several films, wrote books and is currently starring in NBC's "Law and Order".

It's not just about the catchy beats, but Ice-T says it's the lyrics that make it worthwhile and the story behind them.

Rapper and actor Ice-T joined Fox 39 News in the Morning to discuss his new documentary, "Something from Nothing: The Art of Hip-Hop."
