2 Semi, 1 Car Accident on I-39 / Baxter Road

WINNEBAGO COUNTY - Northbound I-39 at Baxter Road reopened following a three-vehicle accident that shut down the interstate for hours.

The accident involved two semi-trailers and one car.

Witnesses say one semi rear-ended the other, then struck the other vehicle.

Two people were taken away by ambulance, but their conditions are unknown.
