Gov. Quinn Signs Three New Laws for Illinois War Veterans

July 4, 2012 (DES PLAINES) The governor signed three measures in Des Plaines Wednesday morning

Under one law, veterans will receive unique distinction on their driver's licenses and identification cards. This law goes into effect in 2015.

The other two measures allows for eligibility for grants and employment for veterans.

Gov. Quinn says, the signing couldn't come at a more perfect time.

Latest numbers show nearly 900,000 veterans are unemployed across the United States.
