Byron - Upgrades are coming to the nuclear power station.

Engineers will upgrade equipment inside both cooling towers.  The towers cool river water used in the electricity-producing part of the plant.

But, a build-up of debris in the filters has slowed down the process.  Plant officials say there won't be any disruption for the public while they make the upgrades.

It'll take about a year to complete.
