Man Shot On Rockford's Southside Dies

Rockford - A man is shot in the abdomen on the city's south side.
Officers were called to 1209 8th Street where they found a man with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. The victim was taken to a local hospital.
Police are searching for two suspects who may have been in a gold, 4-door Infinity. The vehicle was last seen heading west on 12th Avenue.

UPDATE (6:09 am):
The Winnebago County Coroner's Office says that 32-year old Troy Crecy, was shot in the abdomen last night, and died in surgery at 9:54 PM. An autopsy will be performed today and toxicology tests will be available in approximately two weeks.
