Hamilton-Sundstrand Changes Name

Rockford - A staple in the business community has a new name.
Hamilton-Sundstrand is now known as UTC Aerospace Systems. United Technologies made the announcement today, along with a new logo.
The change effectively puts to rest the Sundstrand name, which has been around since 1914.
UTC says the acquisition sets them up nicely for an aerospace boom. They expect big demand to come soon from China and India.
