Around 12pm Saturday night a fire broke out in a loves park home.

Neighbors' were forced to evacuate their homes as the blaze quickly engulfed the house.

Fortunately no one was injured; the family's teenaged son was awake and alerted family members, giving them enough time to escape.

To help them cope with their loss a clothing drive has been set up by an area resident.
