Boone Co. - Funnel cakes, rides, and horses it's all on display at the Boone County Fair.

The fair officially opened its doors today.  Tonight, you can still catch the Queen Pageant at the Grandstand.  You can also check out tractor pulls, pony classes for the little ones, and on Sunday; a demolition derby.  "We're very family oriented" says Tom Ratcliffe, an organizer for the fair.  "In fact, we're devoted to family, that's our slogan and that's why we try to have something for everybody."

The fair runs until Sunday and costs $6 to get in.  Kids 10 and under are free.
