Man Runs over Tent with Family Inside

Police received the call at 11:37 P.M. Saturday night. Thomas Braun, 45, of Cary, IL drove his vehicle over a tent where a father, mother and their daughter were spending the night. The accident took place at Campsite 1 and 2.

The father was the only person in the tent who was injured. He was treated at a local hospital for leg injuries and released. The mother and daughter in the tent sustained no injuries.

Braun is charged with DUI and Reckless Driving.
