3 Dead, Several Injured in Rock County Car Accidents

The first accident happened in the 5200 block of West Mineral Point Road in Janesville Township

A black Audi was found having flipped several times. The driver and front seat passenger, both teenagers were thrown from the car and pronounced dead at the scene. Three back seat passengers fled the scene and were later found by police.

 

The second accident involved two cars at Highway 11 and County Highway B. Tara Carlson, 39, failed to stop at a stop sign and hit another vehicle with four people inside. One of the passengers died at the scene.

 

Alcohol and speed are said to be factors in both crashes.
