Illinois Home Sales Up

More people are calling the Prairie State home.
Home sales across Illinois are up nearly 40% compared to this time last year. The Illinois Association of Realtors says October sales boosted their total, which were the most homes sold since 2006.
Even the average selling price for those homes are up. It now tops $134,000. Last year, it was $130,000.
