Rockford, IL - NCO Group, the company that bought MCI WorldCom last year, plans to hire between 500 and 600 new employees for its Rockford call center.
The call center employs about 600 people now who take customer service calls for T-Mobile.
"We`re looking for great flexibility in the applicants," says Kimberly Bandow, a recruiter for NCO. "We are looking to fill hours between 7 am and midnight. We`re open 7 days a week and we`re open 365 days a year."
Theyre full-time positions that pay $9 an hour and offer medical, dental, and vision benefits, as well as a 401K plan. Workers can also earn up to $12 an hour with incentives.
Recruiters are looking to mostly fill the night shifts.
"We`re looking for someone who has customer service experience, some computer experience, and great flexibility," says Bandow.
This is not the first time the company has expanded. Earlier this year it hired more than 200 customer service representatives.
"We`re just continuing to grow and hoping to fill the center as soon as we can," says Bandow. "Hopefully, by October."
The job fairs will take place on Saturday, July 8th from 10am to 2pm, and Wednesday, July 12th, from 5pm to 8pm. Theyll be located at 7180 Spring Brook Rd. Applications can also be submitted online at www.ncogroup.com/careers.
