Actions of Auburn Teacher Questioned Regarding Prom Incident

(Rockford, Illinois) The actions of an Auburn High School teacher are in question. WTVO has learned of an incident that took place May 13th leading into May 14th at the Clock Tower Resort. The incident reportedly involved a teacher and numerous Auburn students after the Auburn prom held May 13th. According to a police report police arrived at the Clock Tower after 1 AM, and found about 50 to 60 "post-prom party goers" and an Auburn teacher who had rented a room at the resort. According to Rockford Police no charges were filed in the case and no alcohol or contraband were found at the location. School Board President Nancy Kalchbrener confirmed the Board is aware of the situation but couldn`t provide more details. Rockford School District Superintendent Doctor Dennis Thompson, contacted by WTVO, declined to comment on the matter saying it was a "personnel matter." Both the Rockford Police Department and the Rockford School District declined to identify the teacher in question.
