Caledonia, Illinois- "Caledonia Crossings" could result in 370 new homes being built in the small village. After an hour of discussion Monday the commission voted four to zero against the plan. Many residents were against it and want to keep the village small. Supporters felt it would improve Caledonia and provide additional tax revenue. The proposal will now go to the village board.
