New Medical Clinic Planned for Freeport

Freeport- A new health facility is coming to the area. FHN announced plans Thursday for a new medical clinic in Freeport. It will be built on land along South Burchard Avenue on the city`s south side. The clinic would house family practice and internal medicine providers. FHN says a new facility would allow the company to hire 8 more physicians and improve working conditions for current providers. FHN is already a major health care provider in Northwestern Illinois operating Freeport Memorial Hospital and health clinics in five counties.
