The fight for union rights continued Saturday in Machesney Park.
Stateline residents rallied today to show their support for Wisconsin’s unions. They say they're drawing attention to what they're calling class warfare.
"I feel that their winning and I don’t like it. I think they're robbing out country of what made it the great country it is," says non-union Rockford resident Joan Sveda.
"What we stand for, we're for everybody, the American workers. Bottom line is, it's just devastating," says Local 803 president Mike Haiges.
Supporters of Governor Walker's plan say that public workers will have to make sacrifices, just like the private sector, in order to fix the states budget deficit.
