Report: Mike Martz Resigns From Bears

(Chicago) -- Mike Martz is leaving the Chicago Bears.

The "Chicago Tribune" reports Martz turned in his resignation today citing philosophical differences.

Martz joined the Bears last season as offensive coordinator.

The Bears started the season 7-and-3 but finished at 8-and-8 after quarterback Jay Cutler was hurt.

Martz's resignation comes the same day the Bears fired GM Jerry Angelo.
