(Pecatonica) -- Several organizations lent a helping hand at the Pecatonica Woodland Preserve on Thursday.

The National Land Institute along with students from Pecatonica High School planted more than 160 hardwood trees in a field purchased by the Institute last year.  They hope the new addition will provide an improved habitat for wildlife.
