Residents Attacked During Home Invasion

Rockford, IL- Rockford Police say two people were hurt during a home invasion robbery early Tuesday morning in the 1500 block of 5th Avenue. Police say four people walked into the home using an unlocked door. Once inside, they pistol whipped one resident and sexually assaulted another. The suspects stole some home electronics before fleeing the scene. Investigators say two handguns were used in the attack, but they arent releasing any information about the suspects at this time.
