Abbey Goodnite along with dozens of other Fauercia employees turned out for the company flag raising ceremony.
A global supplier in the automotive industry, Fauercia is supplying front end modules for Chrysler's biggest comeback: the dodge dart.
"It's been a great partnership. I can raelly see the attentnion of the quality the belvidere plant is putting into this Dodge Dart and I'm very excited to be part of it," said Gaetano.
Located on Morreim Drive, the Fauercia plant opened last July, and since then it created 50-jobs for the area after partnering up with chrysler.
"Obviously the region has been doing really well with the economy, and jobs so anytime we get an opportunity to bring in new jobs and advance that, and hopefully create more in the future is a positive thing and very rewarding for us," said Gaetano.
Fauercia Belvidere Plant Manager says, the partnership with Chrysler is going well. He hopes the future will continue to hold success for the automotive supplier and its employees.
"As we continue to grow with Chrysler... we project to bring in more front end modules on different car lines that come in so as that happens this plant is fully capable of expanding," said Gaetano.
And when that time comes, Goodnite knows more opportunities will open up for the community.
"You know... we are actually the highest for unemployment in the area so it's nice knowing that were creating jobs for Belvidere area and surrounding areas," said Goodnite.
